Welcome to Bulldog Country!

Venus ISD serves 2321 students and is located 25 miles south of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Once a rural farming area, Venus is growing rapidly in population and quality. The Venus Independent School District has been committed to providing excellence in education for its students since it was founded in 1914.

Venus ISD is fortunate to be a step off the beaten path, yet close enough to have ready access to all that Dallas and Fort Worth have to offer. We maintain treasured local values while placing access to the world in the hands of our students. Our school is consistently growing in quality, even as our community is expanding.
